Why is it so difficult for most elegant woman to find gainful employment?
I am an artist with an MBA. I'm smart, talented, liberal, attractive, friendly, hard working, I am a very fun and creative person with excellent problem resolution and business skills ... but I can not solve. I see employers lose interest when they see I'm not a young hottie. I live in a small town with a strong "Good Old Boys" network, and the few women in high-wage jobs they were doing for 20 or 30 years. I just received my MBA 8 years ago, but I'm ready to start at a lower wage to gain experience further, but I told myself that I am over qualified. What is a woman to do? I would be a great employee, so what happens? I do not look with the traditional scarf, carefully folded, hairstyle and accessories, or go for vintage clothing, 1950s Italian actress with a style or Catherine Deneuve. I am ready to Blast My Doris Day CDs and mourn in my Pellegrino. Any ideas?
