Knowing the right foods to eat during pregnancy is an essential element of the plan pregnancy Every responsible parent. Fish: The FDA recommends a weekly allowance, 12 ounces of fish: canned tuna, pollock, catfish, salmon and shrimp. These fish are excellent sources of protein and omega 3. Protein is essential for healthy cell growth, while omega-3 fatty acids are necessary developing models for the child's skills and verbal skills. Be careful using other types of fish, especially large fish such as shark, marlin, mackerel, swordfish and tilefish because these fish may contain high levels of mercury in her system, which is detrimental to the development of your baby's nervous system. Also avoid raw fish like sushi and seafood, because they may contain bacteria that cause food poisoning and infection.
Folic acid is vital for developing baby's brain and spine. A shortage of this element can cause brain damage, paralysis, incontinence and spina bifida. Food containing folic acid are green leafy vegetables like lettuce, broccoli, strawberries, lentils and oranges.
Foods to eat during pregnancy should include dairy products like pasteurized milk, cheese and yogurt. These foods are excellent sources of calcium, essential for fetal development healthy tissue and bone growth and muscle. Dairy products are also excellent sources of protein, and chicken, beef, pork, fish, legumes and nuts. Protein ensure proper development of normal cells to organs, nervous system, tissues and muscles.
Regular consumption of citrus fruits, strawberries, Brussels sprouts ensure that the mother and baby are receiving adequate levels of vitamin C, which is recommended for healthy teeth and bones and development of a strong immune system. Vitamin C also helps the birth mother of wound healing.
As a pregnant mother responsible, knowing food appropriate to eat when pregnant means that you have in mind assured that you are doing everything possible to ensure the provision of a healthy, happy baby.
