Pink Double Knockout Rose (PPAF)
The Best Keeps Getting Better!
Gardeners across the country as the original pink knockout. Found It's as low maintenance as any bush could be, but with a longer flowering period than virtually any rustic garden plant. They love their offspring, the hybrid double knockout, or even more. We predict an even bigger success for this new family member Knock-out, introduced in 2007: 'Pink Double Knockout.
'Pink Double Knockout' is a mutation of (RED) Double knockout and is the same in all respects except Flower color is hot pink gum. You get the same combination of double flowers, low maintenance (no spraying, no dead-heading, and no clutter protection of land for the winter) and repeat blooming continuously. As Pink Double Knockout 'Double Knockout' is even more floriferous than the blow original grace - with the number of petals 18-25 (twice the number of Knockout) led 3-6 with roses on a stalk. The petals of a flower added that this more track is just stunning. Three or four stalks to fill a large glass. The flowers are about 2 1 / 2 inches wide and are in charge of incredible abundance. No dead heading flowers of maintaining a continuous color from early June to jelly - affixed to a clean beautiful foliage all year. Regrowth is a dramatic burgundy red.
Both Double Knockouts come in (denser, more compact 4 x 4 feet) and includes the way that the initial shock 5-6 feet Out height and width, the pattern of spread. The end of the season this pink color is unique with its rich burgundy leaves in fall. All I wanted in the roses original knockout, you like the new pink "Double Knockout" - with even more winter hardiness, shade tolerance, reduced height and width - and the brightest color of all knockouts.
The striking bright pink is a real position in the garden and are combined with clematis blue violet. Because of 'Pink Double Knockout superior performance' low maintenance, offering versatility of use - one rose planted by itself, more of its perennial favorites, or plant as a cover attractive.
Planting and maintenance
Hardy in zones 4-9.
Choose a place in 4-5 hours (or more) sun and well drained soil.
Improve the soil with compost, compost Chesapeake Blue Crab.
Water regularly until the end.
Once established pay monthly with Rose-Tone on March 15 August 15.
Mulch with 2-3 inches of shredded wood mulch over.
If necessary, prune in mid March before the beginning of leaves. Never prune less than 18 inches of soil.
