Softball History

The history of softball is by far the clearest of all documented sports-related stories. This means that the history Football football and golf among other sports have origins much more complicated in comparison with the history of softball. It is a relatively young sport that was born in Chicago in 1887. The story says that after receiving the score of the Yale-Harvard football game a group of young girl got up and threw a boxing glove to the other proceedings of the strike with a stick. , George Hancock, who is often credited with creating the game, then drew a diamond on the floor and took the handle of a broom to use as a stick. They tied more boxing gloves for use as a balloon of large size. Suffice to say it's strange that the history of softball comes from inside, and was developed by men. The original game was loosely based on an abbreviated version of baseball with a smaller field and a large ball. Shortly after that Mr. Hancock standing in lines painted gym, prepared some new rules and invented the sport in baseball.

Senior officials and politicians leagues around the world have begun to make a change straight Softball in the 1980's and 90's. Initially, changes encountered much resistance, but the game has been approved changes.
Fast Pitch has changed the look of the game dramatically. The sport is much more a game of speed and defense rather than offense and electricity and also produces much more coverage and growth in the sport than ever.
The softball game is attractive to many levels of our society. Young men and women can enjoy the game or in a social or competitive. Thousands of softball leagues throughout the country to provide a social context very high. University teams and the development of the international scene is more popular than ever. Softball History has a long way in past hundred years the poles and boxing gloves to international fame, and the story is softball.
