What is the difference between the Danish culture of American culture?
I will be a foreign student in Denmark next year. Al Originally I wanted to go somewhere very strange and different culture of the United States as Thailand and Brazil, but because of my age (15) a person who chose Rotary where I have to go, took me to Denmark. I know it's different, no place would be the same for where I come from, but if you've traveled a lot, someone could explain some of the major differences? If you're there, I apologize going to be disappointed in their country.
Nawww I understand the disappointment of traveling to Denmark, where you had Brazil and Thailand expected. Denmark is very different from the United States in terms of behavior and attitudes, but not in terms of clothing. But neither Brazil. After all jeans and t-shirt is pretty universal. There are many differences between the U.S. and Denmark, the size of cities Denmark is so small that it would consider small cities in the U.S., including the capital, Copenhagen. There are many beautiful places in Denmark, you can enjoy watching some of the many islands (Denmark consists of 500 islands, about 300 are inhabited) some islands only a few people. If you want to see people still in that dress old is in the form of islands Læsø and Fano. If you want to see incredible scenery you should go to Bornholm. You can also visit the ancient city of Dragør with its houses of 16th and 17th centuries, is on the side of the Island Copenhagen and close if you go to Copenhagen. The biggest problem for food that is very different (but fast food is everywhere need not worry availlable if you do not like Danish food). I hope you have a wonderful stay, after all.
