Building the perfect fruit tray is really easy. All you need is a round tray service, container DIP serving of fruit and pliers.
In preparing its serving dish, make sure your clean and dry. I keep my line a serving platter with lettuce leaves fresh, so it seems presentable.
Your next step is to wash fresh fruit and pat dry.
Whole fruits: strawberries, blueberries, black grapes, green grapes and cherries.
Fruits sliced bananas, pineapple, kiwi, red and yellow apples, cantaloupe, honeydew melon and watermelon
Tip: Soak the slices of banana and apple in a little lemon or pineapple for 3-5 minutes to prevent Browning.
You may want to ask your fruit tray in sections, leaving the center open area immersion in the container. Try to keep fruit juice to a minimum.
For decoration, I like using bright cherry red.
Keep its fruit tray covered and refrigerated until serving. The above list of fruits is just to give an idea of what you can use in your tray, do not use every one of them.
Here are some recipes to use and dip your fruit platter.
Dip marshmallow cream cheese
8 oz package cream cheese, softened
7 oz marshmallow cream
Mix all ingredients in small bowl. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
Strawberry Dip
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 jar marshmallow cream
2 v. Tea. strawberry juice (optional)
Beat cream cheese, add the strawberry juice and cream marshmallow. Whisk until smooth. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
Maple Dip
1 pkg. (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 / 2 c. sour cream
Sugar 1 / 4 cup
1 / 4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
V. 1.2 soup. Maple Syrup
In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and syrup, then beat until smooth. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
