The Company Arzberg, since 1887 has represented the majority of high quality materials and design. Known for his simple, unpretentious flyers, so timeless as to always remain contemprary. Heinrich Schumann, originating Angelroda (Thuringia), had a small pottery in Arzberg who have had to close because it was on the train ride to new construction. The path work is completed in November 1879 and Arzberg connected with the railway network.
In 1931, Arzberg Form 1382 is a reference in modern dishes. It celebrates its 75th anniversary and its design has changed. Like their contemporaries at the Bauhaus, Dr.Ing. Hermann Gretsch relied on the form and function to guide its design. Its mission was to create a soup that can be emptied with a spoon.
