Velcro Weed? What is the name of the thin grass, with small blue flowers? They live in East Texas? Does anyone know.
We have a small garden that is constantly flooded with what I call "Velcro weed" because it sticks to itself and clothing. It is the only thing in the garden of which I am allergic (wear gloves when shooting). It is very thin, with long corridors and purple flowers very little blue. It covers everything once he started and choking the plants. What is it and how can I get rid of it, short of digging the garden and / or spraying of herbicides? It has shallow roots, by luck, so it was pulling the lawn and flower beds, but like I said, I am allergic apparently they prefer to get rid of it with any other method, if possible.
